Advice from a hiring manager - the #1 thing that will make it stand out is if you've solved a problem in the industry I work in. Make sure that's not buried too deep.

30 days ≠ 1 month. Showing a tick after a 30-day increment is not a monthly view. I'm wondering why evenly spaced, labeled months don't work for your project. Can you post a screenshot of your axis?

@Danielillo The buttons break alignment in order to be consistently padded on all four sides.

This project isn’t tied to a design system, so we don’t have to worry about reusability. I know we can break consistency when there’s a good usability reason - but wondering if breaking alignment here...

Thank you for the detailed response. It would seem that the only way to make this visually correct is to align the buttons and add extra padding to the top and bottom of the buttons, making the whole...

Hi, I think your best bet would be to reach out to Zoom's integrations support team. They should have some guiding documentation.
View ArticleComment by Izquierdo on Should a sidebar menu have a sliding animation?
What @Danielillo wrote is correct. Rule of thumb - the animation should support the user's understanding of what is happening (like the Figma menu sliding off to the left to look "minimized"), not call...
View ArticleComment by Izquierdo on Wording for t-shirt sized plans: 'XXL' or '2XL'?
Apropos of nothing - in women's clothing, 0X, 1X and XL are all different sizes. OX and 1X are considered somewhat special sizes for certain body types. The normal progression is S, M, L, XL, 2X, 3X, etc.

I think you need to talk to your legal folks, there might be more to correctly capturing consent than UX. I'd throw out "Yes or No", that's never a good idea on buttons.

Keep it optional. It's not a requirement (such as if you were to automatically send an email to the department head, or allow it to be run in a report), just a filter. Marking it required would...
